Samsung's thinnest smartphone ever, the Galaxy A8, has gone on sale in India. The smartphone is available from both offline retail and online portal in black, white and gold colour variants and is priced at Rs. 32,500, which is around $550 at the current exchange rate.

There is support for dual-SIM, one of which can be used for a microSD card. It is compatible with all 4G LTE networks in India, including FDD-LTE Band 3 1,800 MHz and TDD-LTE Band 40 2,300 MHz. Samsung has teamed up with Airtel, so users will get double data for 6 months.
