DATA PRELOADING SERVICES
Digital Imports can preload files or marketing materials onto your custom USB flash drive for your end users. Whether you just want documents such as Microsoft Office files, presentations, PDFs, or images preloaded, or you want full applications / installation executables, we can ship your custom USB flash drive with your content already stored. Preloading is also available for individual client data like medical, legal or financial documents.
PORTABLE APPLICATIONS
Digital Imports has partnered with PortableApps.com to bring you a wide range of mobile and portable USB applications for your custom USB flash drive. Now you can carry your favorite computer programs along with all of your bookmarks, settings, email and more with you. Use them on any Windows computer with a USB port. AUTORUN
Ensure that your user is views your preloaded materials with file AutoRun. External URLs, applications, presentations, movie clips, and more can be automatically launched as soon as your flash drive is connected to a user's computer. AutoRun is not available in consumer grade flash drives, but Digital Imports provides this option for all of our USB drive models.
SECURE PARTITION SERVICES
Protect your preloaded data from accidental deletion with our partition service. Digital Imports will divide your drive into two or more areas ("partitions") – one for your data, and one for your end user's files. Data preloaded in a separate partition cannot be erased even if the drive is formatted.
We can even password protect your partition to give users access to certain preloaded data with a predetermined password. This allows you to make sensitive data available to select users while still freely distributing your USB Flash Drives.
LOCKED/HIDDEN CONTENT
Digital Imports can lock down certain preloaded content on your drive by partitioning it off as if it were an optical drive. This content can also be made hidden, making these files invisible to the end user.
UNIT SERIAL NUMBERS
Prevent the unauthorized distribution of your preloaded applications by assigning a unique serial ID number to each flash drive. Serial numbers are tamperproof. If the unique ID does not authenticate with your application, it will not launch. Please contact us with inquiries regarding Unit Serialization; this service is not available for all models.
CUSTOM ICONS
Customize your USB Flash Drive's standard OS icon with your company imagery. Custom Icons make a lasting visual impression whenever a user plugs in your USB Flash Drive.
How to get your data to us?
- Send by email: If the data is below 10MB in size, you can email it straight to your Gitratech sales contact. Please send the data in a single .zip folder
- Provide a link for us to download: If the data is too big to email (e.g. more than 10MB) then you can provide us a link from which we can download it if you have access to your own web space. The link should be to a single .zip folder containing the data. Some customers prefer to give us login details to an FTP location from which to download the data.
- Send by post: You can post us the data on a CD, DVD or USB Flash Drive. Please send the data to the following address:

What format should the data be in?
If you are sending the data by email, FTP or providing a download link, then data should be provided as one .zip folder. Upon receipt, we will unzip the folder and add the resulting contents onto each Flash Drive. This way the data will retain the exact folder structure you intended. If you are sending the data by post on a CD, DVD or Flash Drive then there is no need to zip the data.
