iPhone 8 May Not Launch Until October, November
Apple may hold out on launching the iPhone 8 until October or November of this year, reports Economic Daily News (China). Due to "technical issues" encountered in production, Apple won't be showing off the phone in September like it usually does.
September could still see the launch of the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus.
The technical issues have arisen from differences in the display lamination process and problems with the 3D sensing system in the front camera.
Other reports have also claimed Apple will release the iPhone 8, which is said to have a 5.8-inch OLED display, later than the other phones.
